I. LECTURES
➼ Week 1
Module briefing and pivotting from using Adobe Animate to Framer by Figma. Before thinking about a topic, we should think about the target audience first, and tweak our ideas accordingly. E.g. F1 topic but for kids.
➼ Week 2
Use AI assistant to manage breakpoints within website.
Use frame to create buttons.
Button needs to be fit content for width and height, then adjust the padding for the text later on.
If you want color component to be different between states, use create color variable

I asked for feedback, and Sir Martin said the color combination is not it. It does not convey the inviting feel of the recipe. Hence, I tried multiple other color combinations.

Created more items so I could fill in the steps in the placeholder with vector designs. As usual, I used AI for reference so I could do my lineart easily.
Through the storyboard, I now know what assets should I create first before executing everything in After Effects.

Moving on to After Effects through the experience of the exercises previously, it became technically easier.

|
| Figure 2.13: Animating in After Effects |
Kept the content as similar as it could to the poster, using simple animations (position, scale keyframes) to hint the action that the steps are doing. I duplicated some repetitive actions and counted exactly in frames so the motion will appear consistent.

III. FEEDBACKS
- Go for more unconventional layouts.
- Colors should not fight for attention.
- Element placement (ingredient) in poster should be easily legible, as it's an infographic poster.
- Utilize Generative AI to generate consistent assets.
- Awkward title introductory for video. Keep it as a simple motion.
IV. REFLECTIONS
My friends took this module in the short semester, and they had this as
their final project—working with a group of two even. Considering this,
this task is relatively challenging—especially when I am jiggling with
other core modules as well, alongside the final group project of
Information Design which also requires similar workflow. I felt that if
I have more time, I could've produced better results, but as per time
constraints—this is the best I could get. Nevertheless, I am happy that
the final output turned out how I intended it to be, as it conveys the
mood of the recipe accurately.
